Cuba and Argentina: the experience within feminist activism

Feminist activism in Latin America has increased its relevance and visibility during this age. Proceeding this time, referents from Argentina and Cuba talked about their main struggles and challenges. We have the presence of María Matienzo (Cuba), Hilda Landrove (Cuba), Pola Oloixarac (Argentina), and Mercedes Funes (Argentina), who pleaded: State violence against women activists; femicides; limitations imposed on women in the workplace, glass ceiling; ideological appropriation of certain issues on the feminist agenda; and the rights of women in law and practice. The virtual conversation moderation was in command of Cecilia Noce, Coordinator of the Project for the Defense of the Freedom of Artistic Expression, CADAL.
